Polyphenols promote a radiant complexion and combat ageing. They are the antioxidant active ingredients par excellence, limiting oxidation by neutralizing the free radicals that attack skin cells. Some of them also act to prevent and correct hyperpigmentation, i.e. brown spots. Knowing how important polyphenols are for the skin, it's only right to provide it with them. At Novexpert, we've selected EGCG (full name: EpiGallactoCatechin Gallate), the green tea polyphenol with the highest antioxidant power. It acts to PREVENT dark spots, by neutralizing free radicals, as well as to CORRECT them, by reducing the activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme that produces the pigment at the origin of dark spots: melanin. EGCG is a highly unstable molecule in nature, which is why we have chosen an EGCG that is 200% more stable thanks to a plant extract, so that the skin can enjoy all its benefits.
